Replacement HeatBreak for the OmniaDrop Cooling Block.

The Heatbreaks are made from Titanium. The internal filament path has been polished to ensure that the filament does not experience any friction while its being extruded. All the threads on the Heatbreak are M6 threads.

The PTFE lined version of the Heatbreaks improve the print quality of highly flexible materials. Some very soft TPU/TPE filament are very "sticky" when they melt, so by lining the Heatbreak with PTFE it helps to improve the print quality of such flexible filaments. The downside of a PTFE lined Heatbreak is that the maximum printing temperature is 260°C.
The all-metal Heatbreak can also print flexible filament reliably however your print settings needs to be tuned more precisely. So if you only print flexible filaments from time to time, then get the all-metal Heatbreak. If you want to print mainly flexible filaments then get the PTFE lined Heatbreak.

The HeatBreak comes with thermal grease.

Use a small tissue soaked in Isopropyl alcohol to remove any excess thermal grease after installation.

Please only coat the threads of the Heatbreak that go into the cooling block with thermal grease. Do NOT coat the short thread of the Heatbreak that goes into the Ring Heater with thermal grease.
